Father John Misty "Mr. Tillman" music video poster

A poster I illustrated after watching the music video for “Mr. Tillman” by Father John Misty. Illustrated and conceptualized using elements from the video and song. The company that shot the video liked it enough to reach out and request printed copies. It brings a little whimsy to a less whimsical subject, like the video.

BROCKHAMPTON "STAR" music video poster

Inspired by the BROCKHAMPTON music video for “STAR,” I designed and painted this poster for the video. The video reminded me of something I would have filmed with friends growing up, only…good. I tried to keep the surreal feeling of a sun-bleached suburbia.

Kendrick Lamar "Humble" music video poster

This poster for Kendrick Lamar’s music video “Humble” is the first in a series of posters I designed and painted based on music videos. I wanted to give them all a very cinematic feeling. while also keeping the vibe of the source music video intact.

Vince Staples portrait

A portrait of the rapper Vince Staples I painted around the time of his “Big Fish Theory” album.

Bobby Lee TigerBelly poster

Poster I illustrated after being inspired by Bobby Lee’s podcast “TigerBelly” and the common saying on the show, “nosotros papaya.” Had never done stippling prior to this, so it took a while to get this to a place where I was happy with it. Mary and Bobby Lee seem like similar historical figures. One made Jesus, the other was on MadTV. Pretty similar.

MEGAGUILLOTINE schematics

Commissioned fake schematic designed for a fictional megaguillotine. The only requirement for the commission was that the MG have 16 holes. I wanted to combine French gothic architectural elements with modern tech because I heard the French appreciate a good guillotine.

Sundown Precinct issue 1

The second comic book I wrote and illustrated on my own. This is the first issue of the series. It’s a cyberpunk noir story, but I wanted to play around with the more traditional idea of policing that’s found in a lot of noir, especially in a modern context.

I threw in the first few pages down below. If you want the PDF of the whole thing, just write me using the contact form and I’ll send it to you for free or check it out on Comixology.

Sundown Precinct issue 2

The second issue of a cyberpunk noir comic book series I wrote and drew. For the cover of this one, I wanted to mix modern tech and old tech imagery with classic hardboiled imagery.

As for the series, I only made it two issues in before I got too busy to continue, but I’d like to return to it someday if ever I get the time. Comic books take a lot of time to make, it turns out! Who knew!

I threw a few page selections under the cover here. If you want the full thing and the first issue, just shoot me your info via the contact page and I’ll send it over, or check it out on Comixology.
